Job Description

The Salon Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment for the salon's clients and staff. The cleaner will ensure that all areas of the salon are properly cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.

General Cleaning:

• Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors
• Clean and disinfect all surfaces, including countertops, shelves, and mirrors.
• Clean windows and glass doors to maintain a streak-free finish.
• Ensure sanitation of restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.

Qualifications:

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a salon, spa, or similar environment.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and proper handling techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Ability to lift and move objects (e.g., cleaning equipment, trash bags, etc.).
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Working Conditions:

• Flexible hours, typically early mornings or late evenings to ensure cleaning is done before or after salon hours.
• Physical activity, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals (with proper safety protocols).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.25 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 15 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
