The Safety Valve Technician is responsible for repairing pressure relief valves in compliance with the National Board Inspection Code and the approved quality manual. This position entails meticulous calibration and documentation related to testing and repairs, as well as the operation of various equipment, including forklifts and sandblasters. Key duties include disassembling valves while preserving their components, accurately documenting job data, and collaborating with office staff to address repair needs. The technician must ensure a tidy work environment and may be required to undertake field assignments. This full-time role is based in Williston, ND, and candidates should be prepared to relocate. 10k relocation bonus company pays 100% of employee m,d,v. The technician's responsibilities encompass performing repairs in line with established quality standards, completing necessary calibration and documentation, and utilizing equipment such as parts washers. They must also inspect valves, diagnose issues, and replace any damaged or worn parts. Additionally, the role involves assembling, calibrating, tagging, and certifying valves according to manufacturer guidelines, as well as maintaining precise records of all work conducted. Adherence to safety protocols is essential, and participation in job and safety training is required. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 per year, along with benefits such as 401(k) plans, health insurance, and paid time off.
