Quality Assurance Tech – Oxnard – $20–$25/hour

Responsibilities

Interpret, implement, and improve quality assurance standards
Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance processes
Review and monitor quality and inspection systems
Plan, conduct, and oversee testing and inspection of materials and products
Maintain accurate documentation
Collect and compile statistical quality data
Write Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes
Organize training sessions to meet quality standards
Coordinate and support on-site audits by external providers
Monitor risk management activities
Ensure ongoing compliance with industry regulations

Qualifications

Previous experience in quality assurance or related field preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to interpret and implement standards and procedures
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and risk management

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong computer skills
Able to work independently or with team
Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
Relevant regulatory requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree (preferred)
High School Diploma or GED
PCQI HACCP certified
Experience with Quality inspections and audits
Familiar with GMP, SQF, and KOSHER
Implementation of corrective action programs
Good communication skills verbal and written
