**Job Description** Latent Print Examiner will conduct comparisons of subject to candidate and known to unknown fingerprint images using both automated tools as well as manual methodologies to make a determination of identification, exclusion, or inconclusive. Run various search tools to locate additional information on subjects. Provide excellent customer service to field agents in need of assistance with fingerprint related questions. Work in a team atmosphere providing around the clock support to State, Federal, and Local Law Enforcement agencies, Medical Examiners Offices, and agents throughout the Department of Homeland Security. Assist with both the Latent Print Unit and Tenprint Unit tasks. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Minimum 3 years experience conducting comparisons of subject to candidate fingerprint images using both automated tools as well as manual methodologies to make a determination of identification, exclusion, or inconclusive. Conducting name, DOB, and biometric identifier searches of databases to gather biographic and biometric data. Preparing reports reflecting decisions rendered. **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree, in Criminal Justice, Forensics, or related discipline; International Association for Identification Certification as a Latent Print Examiner **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $77809 - $132275 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
