Summary:
The Warehouse Material Handler will be responsible for operating a hilo to transport raw materials, WIP (work in progress), and finished goods within our manufacturing facility and warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, or other powered industrial trucks) in a safe and efficient manner.
Supply production lines with necessary materials and remove completed product to designated staging areas.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Accurately track inventory movements using scanners or paperwork.
Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues or maintenance needs.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Assist with general material handling or production tasks as required.
Follow company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Valid forklift certification (or ability to become certified through company training).
Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer or scanner skills are a plus.
Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
