Job Opportunity: Locum NP/PA in Vascular Surgery

Join our dynamic healthcare team at a renowned medical center located in Pueblo, Colorado. We are seeking an APP First Assist for Vascular Surgery to cover two long weekends per month. Our facility has over 250 beds and operates as a Level III trauma center, equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories and an efficient EMR system (Epic). Job Responsibilities:

• Provide first assist in vascular surgeries
• Perform general vascular surgical procedures
• Manage endovascular and bypass procedures
• Assist in fem-pop, aorto-femoral, iliac, peripheral, carotid, thoracic, and abdominal surgeries
• Handle vascular access devices and subclavian steal procedures
• Coordinate travel logistics, including flights and lodging
• Participate in call responsibilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Board Certified (ABMS/AOA) - REQUIRED
• Experience as a First Assist - REQUIRED
• Current Colorado License - REQUIRED
• Ability to cover two weekends per month (Thursday Monday/Tuesday) - REQUIRED
• COVID Vaccinated - REQUIRED
• Must disclose the number of years of Epic experience and the last month/year used Epic - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice and background - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active Colorado NP/PA License
• Board Certification from an accredited organization
