Zantech is looking for a talented Sr Budget Analyst to provide Financial Management Support, MICP administration, and audit support for an upcoming role situated onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

This role will Support administration of financial management programs including MICP, audit activities, and financial reconciliations with expertise in DoD audit policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:

• Support Managers' Internal Control Program (MICP) administration
• Assist in day-to-day resolution of ULOs, open invoices, UMTs, IDOCs, sales order errors
• Monitor and provide updated status on actions for reporting to ASA(ALT) ARD
• Historical fact finding for audit sampling
• Quality control/configuration control of documents and formatting
• Assist team in historical fact finding for audit sampling
• Assist PMs with audit related needs

Required Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:

• 14 years in accounting
• Minimum of 5 years in government budgetary systems
• Basic understanding of DoD Audit Policies and procedures
• Knowledgeable with DoD audit policies including:
• Joint Reconciliation Program (JRP)
• Dormant Account Review- Quarterly (DAR-3 Q) Tool
• Risk Management and Internal Controls (RMIC)
• DoD Audit Readiness initiatives
• Proven competence in the following:
• DoD audit policies
• MICP
• Financial reconciliation,
• Audit readiness

Required Certifications/Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Preferred: MBA with 24 credits of accounting OR Bachelor's in Business/Business Administration/Financial Management with extended government experience

Required Security Clearance:

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
