Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Technician
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Type: Contract
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 6:00 am 2:30 pm M-F

Job Description:

• Handle all aspects of shipping, receiving, and inventory control in a warehouse environment.

• Prepare, load, and ship materials according to schedules and documentation requirements.

• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment for material movement.

• Manage warehouse space efficiently and brace export loads for shipment.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for shipments and receipts.

• Support quarterly and annual physical inventory counts.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, and company safety standards.

• Keep work areas clean and organized in alignment with RC-HESS (Responsible Care – Health, Environment, Safety & Security) guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Prior warehouse or shipping/receiving experience, preferably in a chemical manufacturing environment.

• Forklift certification or proven experience operating forklifts/tow motors.

• Knowledge of hazardous materials handling, DOT/IATA shipping regulations, and OSHA safety practices.

• Strong organization, planning, and multitasking skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
