Parlor’s Handcrafted Ice Creams  

Parlor’s Ice Creams is Dallas’ ice cream shop. We serve classic scooped ice cream with super nostalgic flavors and make our ice cream the way it used to be made back in the day – from scratch, in-house. We source our ingredients from local businesses that use sustainable and organic practices that align with our values, when possible. We source, mix, age, pasteurize, bake, freeze, and scoop all in-house to create the best tasting ice cream out there. Parlor’s Ice Creams has been selling our pints and scoops since October 2019 at local farmers markets and pop-ups. Our Hillside Village scoop shop in Lakewood is our only brick-and-mortar shop...for now. 

 

Time Commitment : Part-Time (about 15-25 hours per week), Monday-Sunday, Holidays, Day Shift, Afternoon Shift, Night Shift, flexible schedule.

 

Job Description  

We are looking for Shift Leads for our brick-and-mortar scoop shop! Shift Leads are happy, customer service-driven leaders who are self-driven, forward-thinking, and organized. They cheer their teammates along each shift and are always thinking of the next task that needs to get done. Shift Leads do it all – from aiding with production in the back-of-house to engaging with customers and scooping ice cream in the front-of-house. They keep the operations of the scoop shop running smoothly wherever and whenever needed.

Is capable of standing and moving around the scoop shop for the entire shift 

 

Pay : pay with tip share averages $16.00-$18.00 per hour 

 

Experience : No prior experience needed, but prior leadership-type experience preferred. As Parlor’s Ice Creams grows, there is potential for growth into a higher role in the shop! Position typically starts in the Scooper role for a training trial period. After 1-3 weeks of training, you will move up to Shift Lead position if we see fit.
