The Senior Specialist Skilled Facilities Maintenance ensures the safety functionality and appearance of facilities through routine preventive maintenance and timely repairs. This role involves diagnosing issues performing complex repairs across multiple trades and overseeing junior associates while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The position requires managing work orders inventory and contractor relationships to support operational efficiency and cost control. About the team:

Our skilled service technicians support the operational needs of a growing campus by managing various equipment and systems including switchgear lighting and Building Management Automated Systems. The team uses data and collaboration to resolve issues and establish preventive maintenance standards. Emphasizing safety quality and adherence to guidelines they continuously improve processes to ensure reliable facility operations and a well-maintained environment. Their expertise spans electrical diagnostics and equipment repairs fostering a proactive approach to maintenance that supports the campuss functionality and sustainability.

What youll do:

Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety functionality and appearance of facilities equipment and fixtures.

Inspect clean and repair equipment documenting signs of wear and recommending repairs or replacements.

Conduct major and minor Electrical repairs

Oversee and mentor junior associates providing onsite training and evaluating skill development.

Manage work orders maintenance schedules parts inventory and contractor compliance with quality and safety standards.

Ensure adherence to OSHA EPA and company policies while maintaining accurate records and budget information.

Build and maintain relationships with suppliers contractors and key stakeholders to support operational goals.

What youll bring:

• Generator maintenance & Transfer switch experience is a Plus.
• Arkansas Electrical Journeyman License
• Valid Driver License
• Proven experience in performing preventive maintenance and repairs on electrical plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical diagnostics wiring and generator control systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools power tools and three-phase equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to interpret blueprints repair manuals and parts catalogs for accurate troubleshooting.
• Experience managing inventory ordering parts and tracking maintenance expenses.
• Demonstrated skills in mentoring and supervising associates to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Familiarity with OSHA and EPA regulations and commitment to maintaining regulatory standards.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $45.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule facility season or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or Technical certification and 7 years experience in one of the following trades: plumbing electrical material handling equipment or
related trade or 9 years experience in one of the following trades: plumbing electrical material handling equipment or related trade.
Valid Drivers License.
Eligible for a Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
2 years experience using intermediate level functionality of word processing spreadsheet email and presentation software (for example Word
Excel Outlook PowerPoint).
