Banyan Search is partnering with a leading company to identify a Senior Accountant for their accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys both day-to-day accounting duties and strategic projects.
What You’ll Do
• Manage month-end close and review invoices
• Prepare and review accruals, prepayments, and expense reconciliations
• Oversee credit card transactions and reconciliations
• Analyze cost and revenue trends
• Provide FP&A support, including budgeting and forecasting
• Process weekly payroll and review journal entries
• Ensure sales and use tax compliance
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on payroll and tax compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
