The Sales Trainee position supports, services and maintains accounts in the Wilmington NC area. This position is responsible for stocking shelves, coolers and building displays. In addition, this position will follow up after the deliveries are made by our drivers and service shelves from the liquor department storage areas. Candidates may also be responsible for achieving sales objectives, territory management, selling current and new products, promotions, in-store tastings, and servicing accounts. This role is
- daytime hours only with paid holidays.

Job Description - Travel throughout assigned territory to service accounts
- Check quantities of goods on display, cold box placements, in stock and service the accounts
- Fill shelves from displays and back stock to ensure out of stock items are minimized
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers
- Communicate with Sales Consultants regarding changes in buyer's preferences, out of stock inventory, oversight in shelf space and any concerns/situations encountered during business hours
- Build and develop trust and a strong working relationship of the retailer by upholding Johnson Brothers corporate values, have excellent customer service and a "can-do" attitude
- Perform other work-related tasks and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications - Work experience in the liquor industry, such as: bartender, wait staff, liquor store experience, etc. a plus.
- Candidate must be 21 years of age or older per ABC regulations.
- Goal and results oriented
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and prioritize work
- Competitive, self-motivated and customer service orientated
- Professional written and oral communication skills a must
- Have reliable transportation with valid insurance
- Good driving record
- Ability to lift to 50-pound cases, sometimes repeatedly
- Must live in or near area of territory for best servicing accounts
- This is for the Wilmington area
- Paid mileage with commute included

- Educational opportunities available for wine and beer certifications
