**Job Title: PRN Security Officer - Independent & Assisted Living Facility**
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and professional PRN Security Officer to join our team at our Independent and Assisted Living Facility. This position requires a reliable individual who is committed to maintaining the safety and security of our residents and staff, and who can work on an as-needed basis to support our facility’s operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to provide a safe and secure environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Respond swiftly to emergency situations, ensuring the appropriate procedures are followed to maintain safety.
- Report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or other security concerns to management immediately.
- Operate surveillance equipment and conduct regular checks to ensure all systems are functioning correctly.
- Maintain accurate records, including security logs and incident reports.
- Assist in providing a secure environment during facility events and activities.
- Support the enforcement of facility rules and policies to ensure compliance by residents and guests.
- Provide assistance and excellent customer service to residents and visitors, addressing any concerns or needs promptly.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, on a PRN (as-needed) basis.
- Knowledge of basic safety and emergency response protocols.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and handling objects up to 50 pounds.
