Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Print Production Operator with hands-on experience in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) to manage and execute high-quality print projects from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure that all printed materials meet design specifications, brand standards, and production quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain digital and large-format printing equipment (e.g., HP, Canon, Epson, or similar).
- Prepare, proof, and adjust artwork files using Adobe Creative Suite for print readiness.
- Perform color corrections, prepress setup, and layout adjustments to ensure optimal output quality.
- Manage print queues, scheduling, and production workflows to meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with designers, marketing teams, and vendors to ensure print specifications are met.
- Inspect and verify print samples for accuracy, color consistency, and quality control.
- Handle post-production tasks such as trimming, lamination, mounting, and finishing.
- Maintain inventory of print supplies, paper, and consumables.
- Troubleshoot printer or software-related issues to minimize downtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2 5 years of experience in print production or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - especially Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat.
- Solid understanding of color management, prepress processes, and print specifications (CMYK, bleed, DPI, etc.).
- Experience operating digital or offset printing machines and related finishing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple print jobs simultaneously.
- Basic knowledge of file formats, RIP software, and print workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with large-format printing, packaging, or signage production.
- Familiarity with variable data printing (VDP) and PDF workflow automation tools.
- Knowledge of color calibration tools and ICC profiling.
