Principal Product Manager, Ad Innovation & Experience , will be responsible for the evolution of ad products and scaling across new content and platforms, optimizing features driven by data, business needs and research analysis. This is a director level position but an individual contributor role across our Global Streaming Product group.

This role will oversee a portfolio of existing Ad Innovations, projects, and features across multiple devices, services, and partnerships as well as ideating and building new opportunities for live events. Success will require building and maintaining strong relationships with key internal and external Business partners and Technology teams, communicating your vision and strategy of enhancements with executive leadership and key stakeholders.

This position will report to the Vice President of Product, Ad Innovation and Experience will foster relationships within multiple areas of the business including Product, Design, Data Science, Sales, Sports, Research and Engineering teams.

In this role you will:

  • Build a strategic vision, roadmap and experimentation strategy to deliver and optimize new ad products and experiences across platforms
  • Create and deliver winning executive presentations that explain product vision, features and KPIs, managing senior stakeholder expectations and to inform priorities
  • Partner with cross-functional business units to identify and conceptualize the best growth opportunities for ad products that will engage users and integrate seamlessly with the overall UX
  • Collaborate with other product managers, design, data and strategy to develop holistic points of view and confidently make product decisions
  • Present research on statistics, experimentation, revenue impact, user behavior and ad product enhancements to manage business health of products
  • Deeply understand the ad tech and operations landscape, including existing limitations, emerging capabilities, and best practices, to drive optimal advertising experiences.
  • Write feature requirements to capture revenue and engagement needs and collaborate closely with project management, technology & ad ops to implement the requirements, effectively manage ongoing projects, and provide necessary guidance to testers during the QA process
  • Perform research on direct and indirect competitive ad offerings and maintain reference materials on the landscape
  • Help build a product culture at Peacock and inspire the next generation of product leaders

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in a product management role within digital product
  • 2+ years of experience managing digital advertising products with a proven understanding of user needs and behaviors
  • Experience managing products through the full life cycle: strategy, development, launch, optimization, sunset
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, experience doing data analysis to support business decision making
  • Technical fluency to know how to communicate with developers and ask pertinent questions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM software development environments
  • BS/BA degree required, ideally in business administration, marketing, advertising, computer science, economics, or a related field
  • Must have the legal right to work in the United States

Salary range: $170,000 - $220,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible).
