Paraprofessional Opportunities – Elementary Schools (PreK–5) | Illinois
Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with a local Illinois school district to hire dedicated Paraprofessionals to support students in elementary school settings. These positions are based in PreK–5th grade buildings and offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by assisting students with a wide range of learning and developmental needs.
As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide individualized assistance to students throughout the school day. Responsibilities may include supporting nonverbal students who require help with daily living skills, as well as assisting students with academic instruction, behavior regulation, and classroom engagement in both general education and special education environments.
This role is ideal for patient, compassionate individuals who enjoy working with children and thrive in a collaborative school setting. Paraprofessionals play a critical role in fostering independence, promoting inclusion, and helping students succeed socially, emotionally, and academically.
Applicants must hold at least a high school diploma, with preference given to those who have completed some college coursework. Previous experience working with children or in a school-based setting is beneficial but not mandatory. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication skills, dependability, and a student-focused approach to supporting learning and growth. All candidates must meet any applicable district or state requirements and hold an active Illinois Paraprofessional Certification.
