Seeking a full time BC/BE Pediatric Neurologist.

1. Proportionate call with 24/7 coverage for inpatients by Pediatric Hospitalists, Pediatric Critical Care and Neonatologists.
2. Established telemedicine and virtual care opportunities to provide flexibility in care delivery.
3. Enjoy multidisciplinary collaboration with pediatric specialists in the specialties of cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, general surgery, infectious disease, pulmonology, nephrology, and orthopedics.
4. State of the art NICU- Level IIIb with 42 beds including individual, twin & triplet rooms. 18 bed Pediatric Unit and 5 bed PICU with 24/7 coverage by hospitalist and critical care physicians.
5. New Women’s & Children’s tower completed by 2027.
6. Academic appointments available through the USD School of Medicine. Teaching opportunities with medical students and family medicine residents.
7. Research opportunities supported by a clinical research team.

Located on the campus of Avera McKennan which is a 545-bed hospital that serves as the tertiary referral center for the Avera Health System, a non-profit Catholic organization. Avera McKennan campus includes a total of 110 beds devoted to the care of infants, children & adolescents in our NICU, PICU, Pediatric Unit, & Behavioral Health Hospital. The Avera footprint spans SD, MN, IA, NE, & ND providing a massive referral network of more than 1,300 physicians & advanced practice providers in 315 locations & over 3 million visits per year.
