Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients in emergency situations
• Diagnose and manage acute medical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Perform necessary procedures as per established protocols
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently
• Educate patients and families on health management and follow-up care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Experience in emergency medicine preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Current BLS/ACLS certification
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and best practices

No call requirement

Annual Volume: 14,000 patients

Support Staff: Emergency Medicine MD

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified
