Long Term Care Or Subacute Experience Required Responsibilities as Director of Social Services Experience as a social worker in a healthcare related setting. Experience within a nursing home or rehabilitation center- preferred. Must be knowledgeable of the rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern nursing care facilities. Strong, but comforting, communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the public. Qualifications For Director Of Social Services Primary series of the COVID-19 vaccine required Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree-preferred.
