Landscape Architect/Landscape Designer
Position Type : Full-Time
Location : Syracuse, NY
Salary : $60,000–$80,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
Reports To : Partners
Position Summary
Luxus Group is seeking a skilled Landscape Architect or Landscape Designer to take primary responsibility for delivering a full range of landscape architectural services, from project inception through post-occupancy. The Landscape Architect will serve as a key contact for project stakeholders, including owners, consultants, code officials, suppliers, and contractors.

- Document Checking and Coordination
Construction Contract Administration - Bidding and Contract Negotiation
- Construction Phase Office Work
- Construction Phase Site Observation
Management - Project Management
- Client Relations
Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities
- Job Knowledge : Strong understanding of landscape architecture principles and practices.
- Technical Proficiency : CADD proficiency required.
- Communication Skills : Excellent oral, written, and graphic communication abilities.
- Judgment : Ability to make sound decisions and problem-solve effectively.
- Flexibility : Positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
- Productivity and Quality : Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with high-quality results.
- Client Relations : Strong interpersonal skills to maintain and build client relationships.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Licensed Landscape Architect preferred but not required.
- LEED™ certification preferred but not required.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience required; 5 years preferred.
- Construction experience is highly desirable.
- Portfolio and references required.
