As an Equipment Mechanic at Pro-Vac...
You will maintain our expansive fleet so that we can continue providing quality environmental services to our community. Every day, you will organize your work orders based on priority, critically analyze each issue, and independently troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment. • Have at least three or more year of  experience with heavy equipment.
• Have worked in a shop for more than 5 years as a  as a diesel mechanic.
• Must have 5+ years experience with Dealer Level Training in Paccar, Cummins and or Detroit
• Proficient in using computer systems & applications to accomplish daily tasks
• 5+ years of experience as a technician working on heavy-duty trucks.
• Ability to perform PM inspections and repairs on heavy duty trucks, transmissions, Hydraulics, brakes, Electrical and Diesel Emissions.
• A base salary  DOE at $75,000-85,000

What you'll LOVE doing...

• Analyzing and diagnosing (troubleshooting) equipment malfunctions or failures
• Performing preventative maintenance, inspection, and correction of major and minor repairs on various equipment (with occasional welding & fabrication).
• Executing essential repairs on gas and diesel engines, transmissions, electrical and electronic systems, brakes, hydraulic systems, suspensions, steering, fuel systems.
• Completing Federal DOT inspections on commercial vehicles
