Position Summary

We are looking for a  Furniture Installer  to add to our team. You will be expected to install and assemble office furniture, including systems furniture, case goods, lounge furniture, accessories, etc. within customers' facilities in a professional and efficient manner. You will be responsible for timely completion of projects with a high level of workmanship and customer service.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Eye for detail
• Ability to read plans (architectural and furniture) for specific furniture locations and arrangements preferred
• Ability to read furniture assembly instructions preferred
• Ability to work with technology such as using your phone for looking up information on projects and receiving instructions for the day
• Ability to take instruction from others
• Ability to work well with a team, but also be able to work on your own
• Self motivated
• Problem solving is key
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs on a consistent basis
• Customer Service skills
• Strong communication skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to handle difficult situations in a calm and professional manner with both customers and coworkers
• Hardworking and strong desire to succeed
• Must be self-directing and able to adapt quickly to changing conditions
• Availability to occasionally work after hours and weekends

Education & Experience

• Experience working with your hands and basic tools – mechanically inclined
• Must have valid drivers license
