Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Fort Mill, SC, in finding a Full-Time Nanny for their 4-year-old and 1-year-old. The nanny would typically be needed Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. (40 hours)

The best nanny for this family would be patient, kind, and actively engaged with the children throughout the day. This role involves caring for two young boys, an energetic 4-year-old and a playful 1-year-old who is beginning to explore his environment. The ideal nanny will foster hands-on learning, encourage creativity, and support age-appropriate independence. Limiting screen time is important to the family, so the nanny should be comfortable planning and participating in activities such as building with blocks and tiles, outdoor play, music, art, simple science activities, and neighborhood outings to nearby playgrounds.

The nanny will help support the children’s daily routines, including taking the 4-year-old to school at 1:00 pm (approximately a 5-minute drive). Encouraging the children to clean up after themselves and nurturing independence in gentle, consistent ways is key. The nanny should have the energy to keep up with an active preschooler, while also being attentive and responsive to the needs of a toddler. One child has a gluten-free diet, so comfort managing simple dietary considerations is helpful.

Mom is currently a stay-at-home Mom, and will tag-team the routine at first, but plans to return to work. This position is ideal for someone who is collaborative, warm, and confident in creating a calm, structured, and playful environment for both children to grow and thrive.

Nanny Responsibilities Include:

• Meeting daily scheduling needs of the children (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

• Engaging with the children on an age-appropriate level

• Playing with the children both inside and outside the home

• Doing hands-on learning activities with the children

• Providing transportation to school

Household Duties Include (Children are first priority):

• Children’s laundry and changing children’s sheets weekly

• Children’s meal prep

• Unloading/loading the dishwasher

Cleaning up spills caused by the children

• Picking up toys and clutter caused by the children

• Emptying the diaper pail

Pets: Currently, the family does not have pets, but plans to get a dog in the future

Qualifications:

• Have at least 3 years of professional nanny experience

• Have a professional resume

• Fill out a complete online application

• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

• Have a valid driver’s license

• Have safe and reliable transportation

• Have a minimum of three professional references

• Be non-smoking/vaping

• Must be able to swim, family has a pool

• CPR and First Aid Certified

• Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

• Must be up to date on the annual Flu Vaccine

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits:

• This position starts ASAP

• Legal pay is offered between $25 - $27 an hour, depending on experience

• Continued pay while the family is away
