Job Title: Echo Tech / Echocardiograph Technician Location: Ithaca, NY Job Type: Contract | Local or Travel Shift: Day Shift (5x8-hour shifts) Pay Rate: $65 – $68 per hour Key Responsibilities: Perform adult echocardiography and vascular sonographic examinations with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism. Conduct and monitor stress tests, including: Pre- and post-imaging for stress evaluations. Capturing post-test images within 90 seconds of test completion. Travel between assigned clinical sites as scheduled (typically Ithaca and Cortland). Document procedures and results using the EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care. Maintain and troubleshoot sonographic equipment as needed. Adhere to all safety, confidentiality, and patient care protocols. Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in cardiac and vascular sonography (required). Specialty certification or proven expertise in both cardiac and vascular imaging (required). Proficiency with the EPIC EMR platform (required). Experience working exclusively with adult patients (18+). Demonstrated ability to conduct and interpret stress tests. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between locations (mileage reimbursed). Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Strong ability to work independently and adapt to changing clinical environments.
