Now Hiring: Part-Time Pet Supply Delivery Driver

(With potential to fetch full-time hours!)

Firehouse Pet Shop is looking for a dependable, pet-lovin’ Delivery Driver to bring tail wags, happy purrs, and top-quality pet supplies straight to our customers’ doors. This is more than just a driving job — you’re delivering joy (and probably a few bags of kibble).

What You’ll Do

· Deliver pet food and supplies with care and a smile

· Navigate Wenatchee and surrounding areas like a pro

· Load, unload, and carry items up to 50 lbs. Think of it as your daily workout

· Being an ambassador of Firehouse Pet Shop’s legendary customer service

· Help in the shop when deliveries are quiet or completed

Two Ways to Roll:  This position requires driving around the greater Wenatchee Area, including Qunicy, Mason, Waterville, Lake Wenatchee and everywhere in between. There are two ways in which you can make deliveries.

1️⃣ Bring Your Own Ride

· Must have full coverage insurance

· Car must be in safe, good condition. Vehicles need to be large enough to carry delivery items. Deliveries happen all year long regardless of weather; a good AWD, 4WD or other appropriate vehicle is needed

· Must feel comfortable driving in all weather and traffic conditions

· You’ll be reimbursed at the current IRS mileage rate for every delivery mile driven. Current rate as of August 2025 is 70 cents a mile. This is designed to cover gas, vehicle maintenance and insurance for your personal vehicle

· Hourly pay + mileage

2️⃣ Use the Firehouse Pet Shop Vehicle

• We supply wheels; you supply the clean driving record. Must have a clean driving record in the last 36 months. Must be a good representative of the company while driving.

· If driving our company vehicle, applicants must meet company vehicle insurance requirements, which mandate a minimum of 5 years of solo driving experience

• Hourly pay (no mileage reimbursement)

Must-Haves & Basic Requirements

· Valid WA driver’s license

· Must provide an Abstract Driver Record via DOL

· Clean driving record for the previous 36 months. 

· No DUI within 5 years

· Willing to complete a background check (post-offer)

· Problem-solving ability and a professional demeanor

· Reliability, punctuality, and a love for pets of all shapes and sizes

· Great communication skills and a friendly personality

· A smart phone to use for navigating safely and for completing orders in the field

· Availability for flexible shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays)

· Willingness to undergo a background check (post-offer)
