Job Description

Aescape is looking for a Senior Accountant who can reconcile accounts and process financial transactions to drive accuracy and efficiency across our accounting operations as we scale our finance function to support growth. You’ll be collaborating cross functionally with internal teams as we build a strong financial foundation to support our expansion into new markets and verticals. This role is based out of NYC.

What You’ll Do 

• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy

• Accurately record financial transactions and journal entries into the accounting system, ensuring proper classification and compliance with company policies

• Participate in the cleanup of the general ledger, identifying and correcting discrepancies and reconciling outstanding balances

• Identify and implement process improvements to streamline GL maintenance and reduce errors

• Review, verify, and process invoices and vendor payments, ensuring timely execution and policy compliance

What You’ll Bring

• +3 years of experience in Accounting/Accounts Payable

• NetSuite experience

• Proficiency in Excel

• Experience in Balance Sheet analysis and reconciliation

• The salary range for the role is $65 - $80/hour
