Moving Violations: Serious moving violation convictions in a POV or CMV within the past 24 months reviewed by Safety: Serious moving violations include but are not limited to: Improper/erratic lane change Following too close Speeding excessively Involving any speed of 24.1 kmph (15 mph) or more above the regulated or posted speed limit Violating State or local law related to MV traffic control arising in connection with a fatal accident Driving a CMV without a CDL or proper endorsements Texting while driving Using a handheld while driving Failing to stop at a RR crossing * Convictions or pending charges for reckless/careless driving within the past 5 years will require a written review by safety. Violating an out of service order while operating a CMV within the past 3 years requires a written review by safety. Convictions or pending charges for reckless/careless driving within the past 5 years will require a written review by safety Convictions or pending charges for leaving the scene of an accident within the past 7 years requires a written review by safety.
