Job Description: Booth Cleaner - Night Shift (Metal Finishing Factory)
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to fill the position of Booth Cleaner for the night shift at our metal finishing factory. The Booth Cleaner will primarily be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper maintenance of our paint booths and associated equipment during the night hours. This position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment for our employees.
Responsibilities:
1. Clean and sanitize the paint booths and related equipment, including walls, floors, ceilings, filters, ventilation systems, and spray guns, using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment.
2. Remove dust, dirt, and debris from all surfaces within the booths, ensuring a clean and debris-free environment.
3. Empty and dispose of waste materials and used filters in accordance with established safety guidelines and waste management procedures.
4. Inspect and maintain booth lighting, fixtures, and fans to ensure they are in proper working order.
5. Report any malfunctions, damages, or necessary repairs to the supervisor promptly.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including the wearing of personal protective equipment, such as gloves, safety glasses, and masks.
7. Serve as a proactive observer to identify potential safety hazards or cleanliness issues within the paint booth area, promptly notifying the supervisor or appropriate personnel.
8. Maintain an organized inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring their availability when needed.
9. Assist with general housekeeping duties within the factory, as required.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience working in a similar booth cleaning or industrial cleaning role is preferred.
2. Familiarity with metal finishing processes and associated equipment is a plus.
3. Ability to work independently and efficiently during night shifts with minimal supervision.
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
5. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, as required.
6. Willingness to follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
7. Excellent communication skills to effectively report any issues or concerns to supervisors.
8. Flexibility to work additional hours or shifts, as needed.
