Accounting Department Administrative Assistant
Global Medical Virtual Assistants is an international Medical Virtual Assistant staffing company that offers services to North American medical practices and hospitals. We are looking for a competent Accounting Department Administrative Assistant to help with the daily needs of the department. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and tasked with helping ensure accountability and profitability through accurate record keeping and reporting. Your work week will be a combination of working from home and at our West Hartford office. Must be reliable and punctual.
Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner
- Create and update records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Create and send customer invoices on scheduled invoice dates
- Manage Accounts Payable/Receivable tasks
- Maintain trusting relationships with customers and colleagues
- Manage Payroll reports and onboard new hires into Payroll system
- Sort, document, and create payments for business vendors
Skills
- Detailed, analytical, and organized; able to identify and address accounting issues.
- Prior accounting software experience desired
- Strong communication skills
- Office assistant experience preferred
- Ability to proficiently use a PC along with MS Office Suite with strong Excel skills
- Ability to effectively manage priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated, Professional and Punctual
Experience
- At least 3 year's relevant work experience

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
