Job Description

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our team in Franklin, Tennessee. This contract position involves handling administrative tasks related to business license updates and ensuring accurate record-keeping. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and experience working with Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities: - Contact local county and city offices to facilitate updates and transfers of business licenses. - Maintain detailed records of license updates and track progress using Microsoft Excel. - Identify and document any issues or delays encountered during the license update process. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of licensing requirements. - Provide regular updates and reports on the status of business license transfers. - Work both independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and project goals. - Adhere to company policies and procedures while managing sensitive information. - Communicate effectively with external offices to resolve any discrepancies or questions. - Ensure accuracy and consistency in all documentation and reporting. Requirements - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data tracking and organization. - Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with external offices. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate records. - Previous experience in administrative or clerical roles is highly desirable. - Familiarity with business license processes is a plus. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines. - Availability to work both onsite and remotely as needed.
